Here is the first half of the first SBL episode and here is a quick guide on how to read it if any of you are confused by all the color;
Purple is when all the Lokis are together in one form or speaking at the same time
Blue is blue Loki
Red is red Loki
Yellow is yellow Loki
and Black is of course Black Loki get it
Gray is Sakudio
and Green is Bryir
The bad guys are whatever color is left, probably something offending to them like Pink
Have fun and please enjoy the first installment of Somebody’s Bad Luck
Green Peace out;
They were awaken by the city's alarms. It seemed as though someone was attempting to rob a bank. Well this is ironic for their first job as;
SOMEBODY’S BAD LUCK
Bryir the young lady that lost both parents in a freak lab accident caused by her father. Now “gifted” with the ability to control and talk to plants forms. She now lives in a giant oak named K-er and fights crime in Pine City with her two other teammates.
Loki the colorful girl with a four way split personality and I mean split. Falling into a vaut of toxic waste by “accident” her personalities broke free. Now she is able to split into four. And fight with herself more than fight crime.
Sukido the darker member of the team and part of the bat family mysteriously showed up at Bryir front window. Not much else is known about her as of now…
Loki was woken by the alarm, the four Lokis jump out of there separate beds they run towards the door and merge as she passes through.
Sukido grabbing her metal mask and a few syringes she waits as the elevator in K-er takes her up to the floor level. She fastens her mask over the lower half of her face preventing her mouth from opening and keeping her most dangerous weapon under lock and key. She slips the syringes into the pockets in her belt and grabs two vials out of the fridge near the door stashing them also in her belt. She patted one other pocket checking on her ever present communicator before flitting out the door using her combo of teleportation and super speed to catch up with her teammates.
Bryir is halfway to the city before Sukido catches up, Loki a minute behind her. She knows this from the vibrations on the soil.
“What took you so long Sukido I thought you would be eager for a night run” she says with raised eyebrows as her trees fling her gently and gracefully from limb to limb.
Loki gets tired of running so she stars her extended summer sault. Grabbing each of her legs she flips over her other selves looking somewhat like a big tumbling inch worm.
Sukido looks up at Bryir
“My bad, but you’re not the one living in the basement.” She said her voice slightly muffled by her mask 'oh yeah I’m so looking forward to this’ she though flitting to the next clear place in the forest unintentionally landing in Loki's path.
Bryir looks at Sukido only to see the Loki’s and her collide in a huge pile of black, yellow, blue, red, and silver she laughs in her head but rolls her eyes on the outside.
“Well I'll meet you guys at the bank hurry up this is our first time out as a team we don’t want to make fools of our selves.”
“And that goes quadruple for you Loki!”
“what’s that suppose to mean.” Blue Loki shouts Black Loki glares up from under the other
Lokis before shoving them off her.
“oww” Yellow Loki is thrown into a tree
“let's get going” Red Loki says calmly.
Blue Loki sits spralled nearby
“We should totally get a car…or a tuck. Yeah a truck!”
Black Loki glares at her and runs off after Bryir with Yellow.
“How are we going to afford it?” Red runs off.
Blue chases her and shouts “What about a moped? Dude, we could have a gang of mopeds!!”
Sukido dusts herself off ignoring the Lokis ‘shit you can do this you’ve trained you wont hurt anyone your fine they can take you down just focus.’ She grabs one of the vials,’ just one for heightened senses, like we practices’ she drew just a few milligrams into the syringe and injected it into one of the veins in the back of her hand. She replaced the vial and syringe and takes off flitting through the forest and into the town. The drug allowing her to notice things at a faster rate and make much quicker decisions as to where to go. She arrived at the bank shortly after Bryir even though she had been much further behind.
“So you ready for this?”
"Yep already spotted the guy he is wearing a black cloak covering everything but his face. I haven’t seen him around before though so we well use causion.”
Loki finally arrived and we all entered the bank stelfly the three of us now facing the back of the cloaked figure.
Bryir has her rose whip ready in her hand.
“Sorry we only take withdrawls between ten and five.”
The cloaked figure turns around.
Blue Loki flips in front of Bryir pulling out her Sais
“Yeah and you must provide you mother's maiden name.”
Sukido flitting to one side to block the cloaked man's escape.
“Two forms of identification and your signature please.”
“Ok we really should work on our puns.”
“Anyway we’re SOMEBODY’S BAD LUCK!”
“and today”
“it’s yours!”

LOKI
Hiya! I’m Loki, the fun one of Somebody’s Bad Luck. And the ultimate weirdo. If we’re all being honest, you should mention psyche case. Did you just…Do you mind!? I’m telling my story here! Isn’t it our story? Well it starts as my story. Then the rest of you come in. Actually there is the possibility we’ve always been together, it just took a traumatic experience for us to completely surface. You know I’ve always been there, Blue. Anyway this all started when I fell… Ha! You didn’t fall; I kicked your ass into that tank. I think it started before that. …er… Why don’t we start with what you can remember? Good idea.
Ok so I was coming out of an ally…What about your friends? I don’t remember them Yellow! But…Shut up! Black chill out. Just start with your appearance. …Why? Cause you can’t interrupt. Geeze I’m scattered. *sigh* Be going through the same thin collected. I am 5’7”, dark brown hair that comes to my shoulder blades when down, dark skin, and hazel eyes. So I’m Mexican. With some Spanish blood somewhere, cause of my eyes. But people think you’re black. When I’m mad or confused…because of… Yeah the years on the streets. Move on. I’m 17. I randomly remember things from when I was 16 and younger but it’s not clear. Except I know my molecular makeup is different, naturally. For me anyway. This one of a kind trait heals you very quickly, never leaving scars. How come Red? Ok stop talking!
My memory starts two months before my 17th birthday. I came out of an ally and turned the corner to find myself. Thought someone left a mirror on the sidewalk. But she crossed her arms; mine were still in my pockets.
“I have to do everything for you!” she shoves me back.
“What’s your damage?”
“You!” she swung at me.
I started running, but I didn’t know where I was going. Somehow she’d show up in from of me three blocks down, impossible.
“I’m not done with you.” She punches me across the face.
“Since you wanna start something, let me finish it.” She blocks my first punch and throws me back; I pivot and back kick her face into the wall. I give her some body hits, grab her hair and pull her stomach into my knee, hearing the breath forced out of her lungs. She falls on her knees and looks up at me with a grin, “There I am.” She picks up a 2x4 and hits me, I’m thrown threw a window. I pick myself up and look at the window…she’s gone. But then she hits the back of my head, I go down. Scrambling up I take off through the building, I’m too fuzzy to fight. I run down corridors and stairs. I’ll catch a glimpse of her and run faster. Its dark but I can see huge holding tanks in the wharehouse where she throws a chain around my ankles and pulls my feet out from under me. I try to loosen the chain and she whips my hands with the other end as she walks towards me.
“You should forget the other two. I’m the only one who helps.”
I think “I’m scared” and “I need to get out of this building.” The end of the chain whips across my face.
“Stop listening to them!” She crouches over me and grabs my shirt, her face inches away from mine, “I’m the only part that takes action, because I ca…” I slide my body further underneath her reaching my feet over her back, around her head, and bring it back down into the cement floor. I run up the nearest stairs. Unfortunately it only leads to the top of a tank, it contained some liquid. There was no where to go, so I turned around to find another exit. She’s there; she throws me into the railing, hitting my head on the first bar and my shoulder on the second. I kick her feet out; she falls hard against the tank. I go towards her, wanting to finish this. She kicked me in the stomach as I bend to get her; with my momentum it flips me. My back hits the edge of the tank and I feel her scream “NO!” before I submerge in liquid. I found the surface but my vision is off. I see double and different parts of the tank. I’m able to get to the edge and pull myself out. I’m on all fours trying to get my vision back. I reach for the rail and push myself up. I get close to the stairs and I fall, and I fall again. Getting back up I make it slowly down the stairs. I get a couple feet from the last step and fall. I take a few breaths trying to get it together. I look up to see two girls in front of me. I stood up, then I stand, I get up, and once more. That was the first time I physically stood beside myself. I can see clearly and know who the girls beside me are. They are me. I look back to the other two girls. One is Asian ad the other has green hair. Together I say “Hey.”
Ok so I was coming out of an ally…What about your friends? I don’t remember them Yellow! But…Shut up! Black chill out. Just start with your appearance. …Why? Cause you can’t interrupt. Hi I'm Briyr and here is my background,
My Name was Briyr League Jonson. I had a normal life. I had friends and I was once human.
But now I’m
I’m something else
I grew up on the outskirts of Pine City. My dad was a Botanist and my mom was a retired Pro-soccer player. Yeah I know the geek and the jock. Well I guess it worked for them. My dad was the brilliant one, the top Botanist in the country he had found curers for diseases like eczema, acne, and the chicken pox. Using plants that half the time grow in peoples back yards. I was taught by him since I was born. Thanks to him at age 10 I hit genius level in everything and was one of his top ranking lab techs at S.T.A.R. labs. What was left of my free time was spent with my mom, she taught me soccer and along with that team work and humanity. She was my role model, sure my dad gave me my brains but my mom made me human. I was fast, smart, and modest, I had a great mom and dad and wasn’t ever teased at high school even though I was a ten year old in my junior year. I was a geek with muscles. I had everything I was once really truly happy.
But you know what they say when you hit the top there is only one way to go…down.
After my birthday my mom was diagnosed with cancer. My dad went crazy working none stop in the lab trying to find a cure or even just a temporary fix. Nothing worked. My dad loved her and couldn’t stand the though of life with out her. My mom just wanted the time to spend with her family. She spent her days telling her stores of past games and how she met my dad.
She is my idol no matter what’s going on she was my stone my rock.
She was, until that day. The day when I lost my life only to be reborn as something, something different.
My dad was working in the basement lab that he built himself like always since mom got sick. When I come home from practice I ran up the stairs to say hi to my mom and tell her how it went, then went down to the lab to try and help dad a little. No, it was more like making sure my dad didn’t blow us all up which I guess I failed at. I just caught a glimpse of my dad mixing two components together when the hole house flew apart in a great explosion.
I woke up to fid myself on the front lawn.
Wasn’t I just in the lab?
I look up to see our entire home gone the lab in the basement completely empty and no sign of either of my parents.
I was once happy.
I once had a family
I once had a life
And I was once human
The paramedics and fire units came soon after that. I remember just staring at the spot were my house was. Then nothing.
I woke up in the hospital alone. I assessed the damage. Nothing broken, I few scratches. How did I get out of that so nicely, When my parents…died.
I go over to the mirror to see if my face was scratched up, to find my hole life changed I had green hair. I knew what would happen next, I would find out that I had some type of power that I didn’t have before. Me and my father’s employers S.T.A.R. Labs would be here to take me away and experiment on me. I wasn’t called a genies for nothing so I did the most sizable thing at that time. I ran.
I ran fast a hard until I found my self deep in the Park forest. My parents took me here a lot, it being right on the border of Pine city. I guess I found peace here. It was soon after that I found out what the powers the explosion granted me were. I had the power to control, manipulate, and speak to plants. After that I was a meta-human people would never except me. I made a tree house out of my abilities in a great red wood who called himself K-er.
I lived my life with K-er in seclusion with my new found abilities.
Well at least until I found my self helping fight crime in Pine city as Briyr. Were I meet some well know heroes. I even help Batman once against that witch who calls herself Ivy. I like fighting crime alone since with my powers come the curse of not being able to be touched by any human, it seemed right.
But in the end I was my own folly
One night I felt someone inter the forest so I was prepared for the man of the shadows to pop though the window of my tree house. He was slightly unnerved that I sensed him coming, him not knowing that the forest told me the second he stepped in and about the girl he held by the hand. Her name was Sakido.
But now I’m
